這個系列吸引我的地方是
- 出身貴族卻熱衷於法醫學的女主角Audrey
- 帥氣的跟班(?)Thomas
- 一邊偵查案件還會一邊打情罵俏的小倆口對話
不知道為什麼他們兩個人的組合一直讓我聯想到福爾摩斯跟華生XDD 很有趣！
☞故事簡介
Stalking Jack the Ripper (book 1)
17歲的Audrey Rose Wadsworth是個家教嚴格的貴族女兒，但私底下她非常熱衷於法醫學，還常常會偷跑去叔叔的解剖實驗室觀摩。叔叔也會按照學校課程，或是警察拜託的案件順便指導Audrey。
直到城裡發生了好幾件命案，而且兇手顯然具備深厚解剖知識。
Audrey越是了解命案的線索，越覺得兇手很可能就是她身邊的某個人...
Hunting Prince Dracula (book 2)
經歷了開膛手傑克的事件之後，Audrey和Thomas一起前往知名的法醫學院就讀。
但才剛進入學院不久，又有不尋常的案件糾纏著他們兩個。
一件件命案圍繞著古老的傳說，而且似乎和Thomas的身世有些許關係...
他們必須根據一個個線索，在案件一發不可收拾前找出兇手！

☞觀後心得
我個人非常喜歡第二本！
我很喜歡看Audrey和Thomas互動跟對話，Thomas總是可以面不改色的跟她調情(?)或是說出壞壞的話，但又很好笑！
舉個例
“I thought you wanted to be on your best behavior for my father’s sake.”
He held a hand to his heart. “You wound me. Wouldn’t your father be angry if I let you freeze to death? Body heat is scientifically the best way to stay warm. In fact, there are studies that suggest removing your clothes entirely and pressing skin to skin is the surest means of avoiding hypothermia.”
或是在危急時刻，還是可以講個冷笑話(?)
“You’ve got it, Wadsworth!” My fingers shook with the effort of maintaining my grip.
“And if you don’t… I’ve got you. I believe.”
“Not comforting, Cresswell!”
雖然偶爾會覺得Audrey的內心OS有點多有點煩，覺得她隨時隨地都太過注重禮儀。
不過這也是她角色的特色之一啦！
這本書的一大特色就是角色個性都很鮮明，你可以光看講話的語氣就知道是誰說的！
另外，這本書有時會附上一些圖片或照片。
可能是搭配劇情中主角發現的某個人手繪的筆記，或是和故事背景同時代的歷史照片，還蠻酷的！很會製造緊張懸疑的氣氛！
但我個人在讀這兩本的時候有點小小失望，因為我比較期待Audrey跟Thomas是完全用他們觀察到的線索，或是解剖被害人獲得的知識來推出兇手是誰。我比較喜歡看邏輯推理的部分。
可是他們好像每次找兇手都有點誤打誤撞才找到的感覺。這也是為什麼我很喜歡Hunting Prince Dracula但我沒有給到5★的原因。
